Mission

The department for theoretical disciplines serves all the University's students ensuring their theoretical preparation in fields which are connected to the artistic field.
The department ensures the conception, the organization and the coordination of the theoretical disciplines' teaching for all the students. Through their didactic content and methodology, the theoretical disciplines pursue the obtaining of concrete and intelectual competencies by all the students.

The department of theoretical disciplines owns proper teaching spaces, special equiped laboratories for disciplines such as: artistic anatomy, modern languages, history of art, systems of space representation. The University's library is also at the students' and professors' disposal.
