Mission

The Department for Teachers Training (D.P.P.D.) assures the professional preparation (psychopedagogical and methodical), cooperating with the University's faculties in order to accomplish its mission to realize the special training of the future teachers.
D.P.P.D. 's mission is to organize the activity of acquiring the teaching competencies on 3 main directions:
a/ the initial formation of students and graduates in order to acquire the necessary competencies to occupy the teaching places within the art education institutions.
b/ the continuous formation and the teachers' preparation improvement through professional conversion, through organizing the exams to obtain the teaching grades.
c/ scientific and theoretical research in the field as well as the professional, scientific development of the teaching personnel.
