The UAD Network is made up by more than 100 computers and several communications servers, it is managed by the Communication Center and is integrated in the metropolitan ring of communications of the University Center Cluj (1999), component of the national network RoEduNet. One of the constant concerns of UAD is the ensuring of performant communications by a reliable access to Internet services for all the teaching staff, students and general staff of the UAD and a continuos modernization of Intranet and Internet services offered by the communications network. The UAD network ensures free access to all the Internet services, the advantages of documentation and electronic communication being available to all students, by means of the Computers Laboratory equipped with 24 Pentium IV computers, as well as by the computers available in the lecture hall of the university library, not taking into account those available in each department. UAD interacts electronically with the members of the public community by means of the main site www.uad.ro that presents the educational services offered by the UAD.
